I'm glad to hear you are happy with your purchase. That's a lotta chedda...
Great find.
That's one of the paradoxes of buying a razor like that. Part of the money you payed for it was because of its pristine condition and being sealed in its wrapper. Now that it has been unsealed it's lost that cache. Of course if you bought it to use and not sell again it's no big deal and it's a great razor
So the question is, is it shave ready out of it's wrapper? It should be.
Most excellently beautiful.
I have the same question as thebigspedur. is it shave ready after all this time?
So THAT'S what the scales are supposed to look like. Many of my Ducks' scales look a bit different than that.:boohoo:
All I can say is.... WOW!!
Congrats!
It pops hair off of my arm without hardly any pressure. When I say pops hair I mean halfway up the hair shaft not at the base. I can not wait to shave tomorrow.
If you can tree top with a 70 year old razor, I say why not just strop it up and have a go...
I want to, but I might have did to many passes this morning looking for tht BBS and over did it. will post in the AM after the shave
