Help me choose-Dovo vs Boker
Considering the following razors, Dovo Best Quality 5/8 or 3/4, Dovo Tortoise 5/8 or 3/4, Dovo Ebony Silver Steel 5/8, or Boker Edelweiss 5/8 bone. All are round points so that is a requirement for me. Yes the scales are different, but scales don't do the cutting. So let's talk steel. Which do you consider to have the best steel? Smoothest cutting? Balance?
Plan to buy before the 15th. Give me your best experiences.
Thanks. :medvl:

Should a Boker with the black handle come up on sale, you can count me in.
Hello, woodturner:
I have always liked the English Shaving Company for their products and excellent service and have ordered a big supply of goodies from them.
I don't know, however, whether they hone their razors in-house before sending them out. A factory edge on your Dovo might be enough for your type of beard. If not, you might need to have the razor honed professionally. Let's wait and see. A good choice on your razor from a fine company. Congratulations.
