You can get a new Dorko from Shaveingshop or a Wacker. I might go for a vintage Dorko or TI Historic. If you can get $35 more dollars you can get a Livi regrind
I haven't tried any modern blades, so I don't know how they shave. However, I can say that I think most vintage ones are a lot prettier. And from what I've heard, many are hard to beat in terms of the shave.
If I were you, I'd hold on to the money and wait till I could pick up a mint example of one of the really nice vintage brands.
I told you already, take a look into Martins shop:

Anyone have an opinion? On these choices?
If you go for a TI it will be a good shaver for sure. They're great razors!
Some of the older ones a few years back had pinning and scale problems but these issues seem to have been ironed out on the newer ones.
Well guys, thanks for the imput and insight. I did it! I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a new TI the one with the thumb notch and the new carbon song steel from rasper. I got the blond horn scales. This is a 1/2 ground sexy razor. Can't wait. Anybody got one of these?
