Yes Henckels is the dancing twin (which makes Friodur). I've never heard of Guillermo Hoppe but that razor could be a workhorse razor. The toe looks to be muted and the pitting isn't very pretty but the edge looks serviceable. Decent find.

Yeah, not every razor can be made to look pristine. You did a nice job bringing it back to life. As long as the edge is clean, it will shave. Everything else is just character!

'Workhorse' is a good description of this razor. I think it will hone up fine. I thought the point was muted also but I recently saw a stock Filly with the same tip. And the tip on the GH matches the end of the spine, so maybe it's stock?
I can't find much on the GH name...
