Yes Henckels is the dancing twin (which makes Friodur). I've never heard of Guillermo Hoppe but that razor could be a workhorse razor. The toe looks to be muted and the pitting isn't very pretty but the edge looks serviceable. Decent find.

Thanked: 3795Yeah, not every razor can be made to look pristine. You did a nice job bringing it back to life. As long as the edge is clean, it will shave. Everything else is just character!

Thanked: 21'Workhorse' is a good description of this razor. I think it will hone up fine. I thought the point was muted also but I recently saw a stock Filly with the same tip. And the tip on the GH matches the end of the spine, so maybe it's stock?
I can't find much on the GH name...
