torreys and more torreys

help, i have found another torrey, and i find myself increasingly drawn to purchase it, that would make two of them, strangly this one i have found looks exactly like the one i currently have, and i really like that one. i have also located a torrey strop, not like my shumate, this one is one a handle, there is also a morley clover brand, and a goodloe, at this same shop, what to do, what to do.

Truth be told, the recent downturn of the stock marked showed that straight razors are the safest investment of all. They are worth 200% what they were 2 years ago, and some stocks are worth about 2%.

please dil, dont encourge me, i am already thinking of excusses, i have one torrey, and one morley, i dont have the goodloe yet, need to get cracking on my morley, get the scales on her to shave with.

Why the dilemma? Get it and if you decide otherwise, you can always put it in the classifieds. At least by purchasing it, you won't have to live with the question" What if...?"

i will be getting them, and very soon i might add, i just have to squirrel some cash away, probably within the next 2 weeks, the razors will be in the house, at least the torrey and the morley. swmbo, will just have to lump it, lol, i may be sleepin on the couch for a while, but i will be nicely shaved when i do.

Good luck to ya. I would say "I only have one Torrey and only have one..." That works for a little while. I'm luck to have CarrieM coaxing me into razor at times. It's like tag team RAD!

Just remind her that it's an investment. The ones you are looking at are ridiculously underpriced and you can sell it for way more than the purchase price.

That works for a while too. Makes you seem like a savvy investor not a collector... until she realizes that you don't plan on EVER selling anything you buy.
