Not too long ago, a friend of mine, after finding out I had accumulated 65 straight razors, asked me, which one I liked the best? I thought it would be simple to answer. As an old retired accountant, I keep a file on everything, including each razor and all the particular information. Such as price, vendor, date, who honed it, shaving results and other facts of interest. I began to review each razor and it's shaving qualities. I have from 3/8 to 8/8, from extra extra hollow to wedge, from Europa to the USA, from round to square, from stainless steel to damascus steel, from custom to factory made, from the 1900's to the present and from the cheapest to the most expensive I could afford. I cannot make up my mind. Each razor has been honed and tuned to my taste or my face. I figured a good razor properly honed and tuned to your face will give a great shave. The only thing I had to do first was to learn how to shave and hone the razor to my taste. I enjoy each one of them. Juan
