I have one of those, but it's a plain round point, IIRC. Same inlay on the scales, though.

I came in late on this one, but I think a razor made from an obsidian rock by a cave man would be rare and deserve a place in a museum.

I'd quite like one of those French Eloi straights. There were a couple doing the rounds on ebay a few years ago. A lot of people were sceptical about some of the information provided by the seller, but I always liked the look of those razors; very clean lines, very elegant looking razors. Not seen any come up since.:(

Does Chr*nic razors do seem pretty rare. Does anyone have a picture of one to post?
I have yet to see one for sale anywhere.
+1 I saw one on Ebay couple of months ago and I bid on it but stopped after it rose over $100 :P
By the way would these qualify as rare?
-A 'replica' of a very old razor before we had scales
-A Sentier frameback from Switzerland
-A " ?? & Yeomans" shoulderless in ivory scales
-Antoni Tadross (I read somewhere it's a rare find)
Once you have "Replica" attached to an item it's value drops like a lead rock in the ocean.
"& Yeomans" is a very nice looking razor :) I'll have to keep an eye out for that one, but not as shiny :p
I dunno about trusting B&B guys on matters to do with straight razors. Soaps and Brushes tho, that I would consider.
I'm not disregarding B&B guys, but this is Straight Razor Place, where we (usually) talk more about straights. The few times i started reading threads on B&B i found myself wondering where most of the people there where getting their info since a lot of what was said directly contradicted the things i had learned here.
