Default Cook, Everett & Pennell Razor

One of the best shavers that I have in my collection is a Cook, Everett & Pennell. I have been unable to find much information on this manufacturer and was wondering if anyone knows when they were in business?

There are some google results for a drug company in Maine with the same name. Seems that it started in 1884 Genealogical and Family History of ... - Google Book Search

Maybe the razor was produced by another maker for that company?

I bought a set of 6 razors off Ebay and one of them is a Cook, Everett and Pennell stamped made in germany on reverse side. I found your thread just because I plugged in the name. It's been a few years since you wrote it. Are you still shaving with it? The one I purchased had some chips in the blade so I chose it for my first ever honing attempt. It worked out as I have successfully shaved with it:-)
