Default My WOW shaver back in rotation.

When I started with straightrazors, it had a lot to do with Lynns dvd. I remember him talking about a razor called " Gold Bug" , after that I tried for awhile to get one at ebay. They were very hard to come by in good condition, but finally I managed to score! This razor has been stored for about a year now without being used. Mainly because I have been shaving a lot with DE, but recently I went back to straights. I desided to shave with this gem today, and took my time stropping it on horsehide. It was just an amazing shave! This is by far the best edge I have ever put on a blade!
If these babies is still possible to get by, just buy it! You wount regret.

Yes, they are good shavers...but there are soooooo many more out there that are great shavers too. A lot of the time it's the edge that was put on a razor that makes us think that one razor is superior to another.

You are right, there are many sweet razors out there. But when you have been honing for a while, and is comfortable with your work, you notice differences. I´ve honed many different razors, but this particular one gets a really really good edge. It also help to have a nakayama hone
