Thanked: 6Tripled my collection today
Granted, that is easy to do when you just have one to start with! So here is my first one, a W&B from Larry at WhippedDog:
The other two I found at antique shops tody.
The second one I picked up today, recognized it right away:
There are two scratches on the scale and two specks of rust on the edge, but overall I was happy.
This is the first one I found today:
I have no idea about the origins of this one, and the back scale was broken at the pin, but I liked the weight of the blade. The engraving on the blade says "Agent John Cameron, 105 Dalmarnock Road, Bridgeton" And the tang on the opposite side reads "Finest Sheffield steel, Foged and real hollow ground in Germany"
Does anyone know anything about this one? Google didn't help much other than telling me that the dalmarnock rd. bridgeton is in Glasgow.
