I think Cat is right, double hollow refers to extra hollow ground.
I believe this is referred to as "bellied hollow ground", which would be different from both full hollow and double hollow, and of course different from extra hollow....

Here is a very good article explaining what 'hollow' grind is and why and also double hollow grind.
Look at the two cross-sectional diagrams of a single hollow ground blade and a double hollow ground blade. Also read the explanation.
Hollow = concave in the blade when looking at it end on. Especially read the paragraphs on Stability and balance.
