Sources for purchasing new scales for straight razors?

Hi,
I ruined the scales on my new Dovo best quality today.
I was thinking to buy another set of scales to repair it because
the blade is basically brand new.

Help would be much appreciated if anyone could point a direction.

Jarrod over at superior shave has some right now, I've used them on quite a few. Basic scales but they get the job done. Hope this helps.

Thanks David, you just answered a nagging question I have had for a little while now...

I kept getting razors into the shop with these scales, and I kept thinking, who the heck is making this stuff...None of the restorers I know were producing them, now it all makes sense ...

Your answer saved the day. I will order a few since I often do stupid treatments on my razors. I boiled those and got the plstic scales warp all over the angles.

I've used them a couple of times, they are no worst then most vintage factory scales. They sure work in a pinch.

It would be nice if a restorer would make some scales that could be bought by themselves.

The problem is the fitting...
Most of us make the scales and custom fit and balance them, None of us want to put our names on something that could be stuffed on the wrong razor
That is what was done with many of those larger Friodurs with the heels hanging out the bottom, that is just wrong... The other problem is the "wedgeiness" (new Glen word alert) we adjust that to drop the razor right where it is supposed to be inside the scales too... All this goes into the equation when we custom fit razors...

To make generic sizes, we can't compete with the mass produced plastic stuff and these prices... so you have a catch 22 there...
