USPS delivered a package from Thomas Kronenberg, Solingen Germany today. It contained 2 Revisors, and one GOTTA 120. The top Revisor is a replacement that Thomas sent me for nominal charge for the mix up of the order of the one I had ordered recently. I was supposed to get a Green one and ended up with Blue. This top one is Green.

Second down is a Revisor Extra Hollow Ground 5/8.. they are all 5/8 BTW. On the Left side it says Revisor on the tang. On the Right side it says C. Friedr. Schmidt Solingen with a Puma on a branch. This is one of the earlier original Revisor markings.

Third down is a GOTTA made by Grah & Plumacher. Brand new, including box! Hamburg Ring and Super Fine on the blade. 120 on the tang along with the name.

Jimps on top and bottom on this one.

Better picture from Revisor....

Revisors "much" better picture than the one I took tonight of the 5-0002 model with the Green paint and Gold wash....

And the GOTTA...

Jimps on top on the GOTTA.

I shaved tonight with the Blue Extra Hollow 5-0027 and the GOTTA. The GOTTA won hands down at the moment over the Revisor. That is one of the sharpest, smoothest shaves I have ever gotten! I would be hard pressed to improve on the edge with honing. The Revisor "Extra Hollow" 5-0027 model though, I think it could use just a touch up on the hones and try again. It was shave ready in that I could shave with it, but there was a bit more pull with it than the GOTTA. Also even though it shaved close, the GOTTA came back in and picked up things. I would swear that the GOTTA was more extra hollow than Full Hollow, but then I could be imagining it as well. Both are ground extremely thin for a long duration of the blade.

Impressive to say the least. Next will try the Green Revisor, 5-0002 for shave.
