Default Know any thing about this razor???

So has anyone heard of Herald Bros. Company-Blue Steel Special? The razor says Cleveland Ohio made in Germany. On a whim decided to bid on the razor and won it for $19.00. Only pics I have are the ones from ebay
HEROLD BROS. CO. BLUE STEEL SPECIAL STRAIGHT RAZOR | eBay If you click on the pic it brings up a few shots of the razor and box.

The net isnt turning anything up and I cant find anything on this site. Just wondering about the age and what happened to the company...

    Any help is appreciated.

Back in the old days a lot of local outfits had razors made for them with their name on the tang and made in Germany or Solingen stamped on it as well. Unless they were a really big outfit it is hard to say if there is any info.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Maybe I just answered my own question. According to Angie's List and if its the same company, HEROLD BROTHERS
    1418 EUCLID AVE
    CLEVELAND, OH 44115
    (216) 621-2210
    In Business since 1874

Looks like they are a small appliance repair company...

What do you think? Maybe they also sold straights or gave em away for promotions??

    Jimmy is right.
And nothing interesting about this company in the books.
Only that they were in business 1920-1940.
