Razor ID question
I just bought this one on the 'bay. I remember seeing a razor that had a rubber thumb notch curve where this one has the square notch.
Would anyone here have an idea what razor that was?

I have a Genco just like it. They originally had a guard(as shown in the photo above) that could be moved from one side to the other. Even without the guard it is still a great shaver.

A Genco or Case Safedge is a super fine razor! (don't know about that guard) They are like modern grind wedges ( more concave) with an extra long tang to include the notch. They are very controllable and deliver a great shave! Nice Work!
The ones with the rubber are Fillys. I suppose it would be neat to put a rubber something on the tang, though! You would have to unpin it to do it. You would have to be able to close it as well. HmmmmLast edited by sharptonn; 05-18-2011 at 02:30 AM.

Hmmmmm! A cast rubber insert?? Hmm! A thumb/finger notch in the custom scales?? Hmmmmm!
