Hey, check this out.

I received my new Dovo... uh, a week or two ago. The day before yesterday a tiny chip, plus an even tinier one, popped off the blade while I was stropping the razor.

Here are a couple of pics:

I know I didn't knock it against anything, because I've been nothing short of careful with the razor. And the chips don't really look like impact chips to me, so the next question is, is it possible that one razor out of XXX number just has a flaw in the steel? and if so, is it worth getting this one re-honed, or will it just chip again?

I send an e-mail to Classic Shaving to see if there's a warranty clause covering blades that break when being swiped agains a strop, fer gossakes.

The strop was a RupRazor The Filly. nothing there but leather.

I don't get it, and I'm wondering if I'll get another Dovo. People seem to like them, so I'm willing to entertain the idea that I just got a lemon, but sheesh...
