Just Grabbed a Pair
Years ago, I used to play mandolin. And, in the mandolin crowd, we suffered from MAS, or Mandolin Acquisition Syndrome. I'm sure there is a similar disease for wet-shavers. Anyway, I digress.
I just picked up this pair of straight razors. I saw them and said to myself, "Self, I've got to have this pair." I'm hoping they shave as good as they look.
A matched set of mid-19th century Joseph Rodgers & Sons straight razors. The are a wedge grind and are just over 6/8" wide. The tang reads:
Joseph Rodgers & Sons
Cutlers to Their Majesty
No 6. Norfolk Street
Sheffield

They will shave at least as good as they look, which is awesome! Really good judgement in that aquisition! Hard to find things such as those. Nice Work!
