So I never really used anything to protect my blades and never had any corrosion issues. However, I moved apartments and all of a sudden my blades have began to rust. I have been using oil on the blades daily since I started to notice the problem, but honestly it's a bit of a mess. I don't really mind having to get out the oil and a rag to put them into deep storage, but it is a bit messy for an everyday thing. Anyway, that got me thinking about using Rem Oil wipes that I saw at the sporting goods store. They are a little easier to use, since you just pull out a wipe wipe down the blade and throw it out. I'm not sure that the Rem oil is the best protection for the blade, and I haven't seen anything out there specifically for this purpose. Has anybody worked this out, or is there another product out there that I might think about using? Thanks.
