Thanked: 81Dovo 55 from Vintageblades
I received a Dovo 55 from vintageblades yesterday. It has the ox-horn scales. At first look, I was very surprised by this razor. This is a nice 7/8 with what looks like an extra hollow grind. When I compare it visually with my prima, they look very similar in profile.
After a few strops on linen and leather, I got a silent HHT on the blade. I put it aside for a shave today. The shave was outstanding. Smooth and very close. I almost got a 1-pass BBS which is a first for me. Overall, I am very happy with the razor.

Yeah, Lynn can still hone a great edge.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Correction
Lynn did hone for Vintage in the past and probably still does ? I was nosing around the website after reading your post and I see that Maximilian re-scaled and honed those Dovo 55s. So giving credit where credit is due, it was Max, not Lynn who honed your razor.

Regardless of the honing, those Dovo 55's are exquisite razors. You've got yourself a very fine specimen. Congrats on owning such a wonderful shaver.
