infor on a razor
Simmons Hardware # 1448 Straight Razor "Excelsior" writing on the blades face
i don't have a picture of it but has any one heard of this razor, and what would 1448 mean.

1448 is a catalog number.
Very interested to see the razor picture.
Because trademark "Excelsior" was used by some other companies.

Terapin, Simmons had blades made by some Soligen companys - usually a big name. If I recall correctly, Ern made some of them. 'Have had 3 or 4, and have 2 now. 'Always been very good blades. Enjoy.

Many companies made different products for Simmons. But never heard that ERN did that. Whence such information?
