7/8", square point, satin finish, maple scales.
Came shave ready. Scales are very light, I like the color.
Can't wait to check how this beauty shaves.

Very nice, I like the look of those maple scales!
What's it like shaving with a bigger blade? I've never tried anything over 5/8.
Want a Hart someday...bad!
Oh wow, Happy Birthday indeed!!! I really love those scales. I have a Hart Steel with cocobolo scales and I found them to be a tiny bit underwhelming. I may have to order a set of those maple scales for mine, they just look fantastic.
That's a fine blade.
Mike, what a gorgeous blade, and a 7/8 to boot. Great size!
Have fun, and please let us know how it shaves!!
Very pretty. I like the combination of the satin finish and the blonde scales.
Gorgeous Razor. Use it in good health!!
Nice lookin razor and happy birthday! Use it well.
Sweet Birthday gift!
There needs to be a rule about posting photos of these Hart Steel razors and making me want one even more.
Congrats on the amazing birthday present. It's a beauty.
Finally shaved with it. I've used it straight from the box, not even stropping.
Weight and balance is very close to heavy grind Sheffield razors.
Factory edge is sharp and shaves very smoothly.
It feels like they did more laps on chrox to make it extra smooth.
I would prefer it to be more aggressive, but it has an ideal edge for beginners.
I like the line from the manual: "After you have used your razor for a few months, you will notice that stropping will no longer keep the blade sharp enough for smooth shaving."
Really nice blade . somebody loves ya. Have fun!
nice Birthday gift! gongrats on you
