Birthday present
7/8", square point, satin finish, maple scales.
Came shave ready. Scales are very light, I like the color.
Can't wait to check how this beauty shaves.

What's it like shaving with a bigger blade? I've never tried anything over 5/8.

Oh wow, Happy Birthday indeed!!! I really love those scales. I have a Hart Steel with cocobolo scales and I found them to be a tiny bit underwhelming. I may have to order a set of those maple scales for mine, they just look fantastic.
