The shave was equal in smoothness to the Dovo. The difference in the feel is now distilled to the fact that one is a 5/8 and one is a 7/8. The quality of the shaves is equal, comfortable, and oh yeah.....FUN!

The shave was pretty good. I had noticed on the final strokes of the last shave that it was just minutely scratchy, which led me to up my stropping count for this one. I felt fine with the razors edge throughout the shave.

I'm lovin' this. I'm having loads of fun already. Being at the cottage, and not having my hones, I'm concentrating on stropping variations and pressure. What I do know though, is that at 4pm today that 2 pass shave with the Dovo Best from yesterday was still soft and lovely. I shaved again anyway though...just cause I wanted to darnit!
