About 3 weeks ago I found a cheap Duble Duck Satinedge 5/8 spike for sale on Ebay, the pictures weren't that great but I thought I'd take a chance and snap it up on Buy Now for $40. Well it arrived in the mail today and I was amazed to see it was in almost new condition, with a little tarnishing all over. I got the Dremel out and gave it a light polish and this is how it came up! No rust or pitting or anything.

I was planning to clean and hone this myself but it's so good I think I'm going to send it to one of the honemeisters as I'm scared I'll ruin an almost perfect razor.

What do you think, not bad for $40? It needs a new pivot pin as it's a little loose, and a decent honing. But it's basically NOS, it doesn't look like it's been used.
