Would anyone be interested in having a sub forum devoted to examples of RESCUED vintage straight razors. Some of these are scattered throughout the Workshop, Show and Tell, and other forums. I'm referring to those razors that have been cleaned up, made shave ready, and perhaps have new scales yet have not been "cleaned" to the point of erasing original etchings or tang identification but still have many pits and other imperfections. The character of the razor would be retained including the "through-the-mill" results of its history. Reconstructed razors that are truly outstanding would not be included because they can be shown elsewhere. These probably would not be the product from an elaborate workshop, but rather those from a small corner-of-a-room workspace with maybe a dremel and elbow grease.
