What are some other 1/4 hollow razors, similar to Red Imp 132?

I finally received one of 2 Red Imps I ordered today, the Case 132. The other is the 133 which hasn't arrived yet, and honestly, I don't think I'll miss out if it never shows up.. Even though the seller of the 132 honed it, he did say he wasn't a pro at honing, Anyway, after receiving it, I gave it a few laps on the coated balsa that I never used, that came with a whipped doug razor, then stropped it. I then proceeded to attempt what probably amounts to my 5th or 6th straight shave ever, with 3 of them happening 4 years ago with a Dovo Special that came shave ready when I bought it. All I can say is WOW! Now I have little to no experience here, but my whipped dog was a full hollow, as was my dovo. This 1/4 hollow wedge just seems the perfect weight for my face and wire beard. It just seemed that the other razors I've tried which happened to be full hollow I think, sort of tugged a bit on my coarse beard, and never felt very ” stable” . This Red Imp 132 just feels right. No tug, no pull. I like hearing the whiskers ” pop” and you don't get much of that with this grind, but man is it comfortable and confidence inspiring, it just wipes the stubble off my face. There was a little tug here and there, but very little.I can only imagine how its going to feel, properly honed. The only thing im going to do is, send it out to Lee for honing, and mute the point, which is requires a little too much attention for me at this early staged in the game..Anyhow, im not dismissing Full hollow grinds as I don't have alOt of experience, and I do have the 133 coming, which its a hollow grind and also, I kicked out and found an NOS. But it just seems to me that I found my go to grind real early in this journey. So what are some other 1/4 hollow wedges similar to the red imp that I can pursue, to add to my collection?

Hard to compare razors from different makers and sizes.
Right now you say Red Imp is the best for you, but wait until you try a bunch of other razors say Puma, Filarmonica, TI, Heljestrand etc, and then you might change your mind, who knows. I have not shaved with many 1/4 hollows because I do not like thick grinds, but for me TI LeGrelot stood out.

Im not saying the Imp is best for me. I have too little experience to know. What I'm saying its the weight and grind is so far way more comfortable and effective for me. Just wondering what other 1/4 hollows have great reputations, that I could possibly add to my fledgling collection.

Dubl duck satinwedge should feel pretty similar. I have also really liked the Hess quarter hollows that I shaved with....you could also get some more red imps with different branding; I know that there is at least Case and Morris. You would also probably like some of the bigger chopper razors from the famous English makers as they feel very substantial.

The thing that makes me like one heavy grind vs another is the feedback. Most heavy sheffields are silent, and my face has not made peace w/ the feel of sheffield steel. The two Satinwedges I tried were fairly silent also, as is the US made Cattaraugus. The Wackers are very communicative & shave wonderfully, but $$$. The best heavy bang for the buck I've found has been the Swedish heavy grinds. They're just hard to find. 'Hard steel, plenty of feedback in all but the slab-sided wedges. Have one near wedge now - appears quite old. 'Dahlgren'. I've tried Heljestrand, Engstrom and Hellberge. Each was a wonderful shave, and competitive w/ the Wackers.

Hey there,
I think instead of looking towards a particular maker, it would be useful to look at an era. If you look towards the late 1800's early 1900's you will find more 1/4 hollows from a lot of makers. Give them a try, you can find lots on eBay.

Unfortunately not. It is St. Helens near Liverpool, United Kingdom. Although I am moving to WA to be with my Fiance soon Wouldn't that have been a coincidence!!
