Hello Gents, does anyone currently own or has previously owned a Dovo Bismark that could possibly give me some insight on this razor. I am very interested in this razor, as it will be my first razor. Thanks!

I have one in red scales 6/8ths (my preferred size). Great daily shaver. Takes a very nice edge handles well on the strop and just plain looks good. No.thing wrong with it.
I have one just like the one pictured which I bought from SRD. While I prefer vintage blades, the Bismarck is a fine razor and a fine daily saver as noted by alb.
Thanks guys, I appreciate it.
I just bought that exact one from Phil at classic edge. Had it for one day and sent it back. It just was not for me. If you like it though...its all taste I think. I am sure they are great shavers...It just wasn't what I thought it would be for the money. It honestly seemed really cheap feeling to me lol. Maby im just weird
Wow that is a nice razor. I've never seen this model.
I have had one for a couple of years now, and I can tell you that it has a perrnament spot in tthe stables. I like as much as my other favorltes.
Heading in to try her out nowhttp://img.tapatalk.com/cef88090-7c91-181d.jpg
I just got one from SRD, couple of days ago, exactly the same as on the picture, and I am pretty happy with it. I did not find any flaws with it. Shave is smooth and nice. I find this razor easy to maneuver with.
I actually just finished shaving with this razor. I have had very good shaves with it, but, tonight wasn't one of them. I think it's due for a good honing. Don't get me wrong though. It's a very good razor and I strongly recommend it.
I have avoided new razors for a number of reasons. This was my first new (non vintage) razor. I must say I really do like it. The size and shape make it very comfortable and easy to maneuver. Has me rethinking the whole new versus vintage thing
I'm the opposite. I prefer new razors so I can enjoy the full life of it.
