I have one in red scales 6/8ths (my preferred size). Great daily shaver. Takes a very nice edge handles well on the strop and just plain looks good. No.thing wrong with it.

I have one just like the one pictured which I bought from SRD. While I prefer vintage blades, the Bismarck is a fine razor and a fine daily saver as noted by alb.

I have the same razor. It is a great razor, both functionally and aesthetically. My only complaint is that the filed spine has a habit of scratching up my strop. The weird thing is that not all Bismarck owners report having this problem.

Your absolutely right on that. I found it scratched the Beegeebers out of my black latigo, but not on my horse butt or English bridle. Its something to consider though if you have a show strop.

I just bought that exact one from Phil at classic edge. Had it for one day and sent it back. It just was not for me. If you like it though...its all taste I think. I am sure they are great shavers...It just wasn't what I thought it would be for the money. It honestly seemed really cheap feeling to me lol. Maby im just weird

Thank You Thank You Thank You!
Phil was supposed to put one of these aside for me and forgot. When I reminded him he was out of stock and could not get more. Today I picked up Nice Red Bismark thanks to you!

I actually just finished shaving with this razor. I have had very good shaves with it, but, tonight wasn't one of them. I think it's due for a good honing. Don't get me wrong though. It's a very good razor and I strongly recommend it.
