    Default Mother-loads O.o

I have found the mother loads...at least in my local area.

Around Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky, there is a town called Grand Rivers. In this town there is an antique shop. In this antique shop, there is a display case filled with straight razors. Old ones, new ones, wedges, full hollows, you name it it's there. And the best part is that they are relatively cheap. They ranged from $14.50 - $115.00 and a lot of them on the low side. As far as I can tell, they were all high quality but needed just a bit of TLC. In total there was 65 straights, all neatly lined up looking pretty. The man must've been a collector. Well there's actually 64 now. I bought a J. A. Henckels from there for a whopping...are you ready for it?...$18.50! I'm going to say that's a deal. It needs a little grime taken off and to be honed of course but it's a beauty.

The second I actually got at a shop I frequent in Cadiz, Kentucky. I now know to check in glass cases for straights and when I looked in the one right in front of the shop-keeper, there was 16 more all in fairly good condition. These prices ranged from $6-$16. I saw one that I liked but it had a very big piece of the blade chipped off. It had the word Kama on the handle. I settled for a $16 one that is made by M. Jung (whoever that is) from New York and was made in Germany.

So I've added two to my collection. I'll post pics of them later. Can anyone tell me who M. Jung is?
