Default Anyone have any experience with this Kamisoris?

One says Fuji and the other one may/may not be a Takami ( I have a similar looking one). A friend of mine is in Japan and when I asked him about kamisoris he sent me these two pictures that he found online.

Well, that is strange because I have never seen a kamisori with anything in English on it. Maybe it was made for export.

OK maybe I am seing things wrong but the Fugi looks to be a Bi-Bevel blade...

Not that it is a bad thing just different for Kamisori, which would tend to make me think TBS is correct in that it might be for us westeners

Here are a few with English on them. The OP's pictures look like new productions, IMO. Is the top one brass? Looks pretty cool.

It's still very rare and I still think those are for export-new production.

I wonder if the Fuji has a built in camera? On a serious note, is the Fuji part of the Fuji that produces optics?

Mt Fuji is a popular motif as it has great cultural and religious significance in Japan. Many things are named after it and you see it everywhere.
