I used to have this one, but alas not anymore. Not sure about the age, but definitely 1700s. Didn't have any markings and was obviously hand-done and fairly crude.

Here's my oldest. I haven't managed to decipher the stamp correctly... yet. My best guess is that this was made around the turn of the 19th century, any opinions are welcome.
I graduate barber school in about a month, then hopefully I'll have some time to fashion some old-style straight scales for her:beer2:

The person who i bought this from advised me it was made in 1850.
