Yes - thank you - and they are!
Yes Mikael was the vendor (all class). Thank you; I find them handsome as well. I love the thumb notch and the scales/balance of these razors. And they indeed are "magnificent shavers."

I havent shaved with my MK 32 -- but it sure is pretty sitting in my display case.
I know, but I just cant bring myself to do it until I am more confident of my honing skills. For now I have a fine W&B to use.
I have a few but the MK42 has a special place in my heart, it was the first razor I bought and I didn't know a thing about razors at the time except that someone had said "you can't go wrong with a Heljestrand", I don't remember who wrote it or where I read it but he was right, I got it for 500 SEK(about 70USD), it was in near mint condition with an HHT edge and when I got it, it took a few months and some experience with other very nice but not as nice razors for me to realise what a great deal I had made and if I had known what an amazing razor it is, I'd gladly give five times what I paid for it.
As I write this I have sixteen razors, I shave three times a week and I use my MK42 two times a week.
Here's a poor quality picture of it, it doesn't do justice to the beauty of this razor but it might give you an idea.

PS, IRL the scales are clear white not yellow as in the picture.
Nice razor, cannot read the tang but I think thats a BK42,
Nope, the stamp clearly says MK.
I've been assuming that MK stands for Magnus Kindal, is that right? and What's BK?
Edit, Thanks, it really is.
Interesting,my refs do not show a MK 42,only BK in 11/16ths,no clue what BK is.
No, the MK probably stands for "Mästerlig Kvalite", translated it would mean something like Superb Quality.
I've found this referenced around Swedish historical societies online.
From what I have found suggested, the BK would be Bästa Kvalite", that translates to something like Best quality.
The RK is harder to find anything on out there:)
