    Default C.V Heljestrand

Just got my third C.V. Heljestrand today! I can't stop buying them. A 30 (4/8). The other two are 29's (3/8). I am absolutely sold on these blades! Anyone else? Tell me about yours!

I have a Heljestrand frameback that always seems to be near the top of my rotation.

I have a 30, 31, and 32. I love me some Swedish Steel. Full hollow and quite stiff, takes a smooth edge.

I sold a No 24 (I think?) with a French tip, wish I had kept it. I have a No 8 that's a permanent member of the rotation. Great piece of steel.

Just took that bad boy to the face. Gents, if you follow the link in my OP you'll note the vendor states that this blade is a "shaver." In the future, if he's selling something you like, and uses the phrase, "shaver" - buy! Wow - what a great shave. So glad I didn't balk!

I think I might have a thing for these blades... 3 out of 3 have done very well by me.

I really haven't ever met a Heljestrand that was not a great shaver. That one looks really nice.

    Enjoy!

Judging by the blade rest, I'm guessing its from the honorable Mikael. You can't go wrong there. 'Very handsome, and I think you'll find the Swedes are magnificent shavers.
