How cn you tell you rolled the edge?

Howdy,
been SR shaving for a while now, but I haven't been able to get any where near a BBS shave cause I can only get through one pass. I can do a WTG pass perfectly fine, no tug no pull no hurt. but when I try to do XTG lately I've been having problems, and I haven' been able to go ATG yet. People tell me I might have rolled the edge and to get it honed, Which I plan to do. Next time I go to San Antonio I will drop it off with Ken Rupkalvis from ruprazor.com to have it honed. and I don't have another razor, I'll probably look for one soon. But until I send it in how can I tell if it's the razor not just me?

Take a look at it through a 10X loupe. If it's been rolled, you'll be able to see it.

I think I might have one at home, I'll check when I head back to San Antonio

I don't believe I've ever rolled one so I'm speculating.... if it was shaving sharp before you stropped it and if it was dull afterwards, I would suspect the edge might have been rolled.
