I went to 5 antique shops this afternoon in search of straight razors. After referring to the list I had printed from this sight as well as researching them since December of '12 I decided to put my miniscule knowledge to the test. I purchased a Torrey "No. 0140" with the lettering "THE TORREY RAZOR CO" "Worchester Mass." "USA" stamped in succession in a straight font. I also purchased a razor that Said "King" on the side and "Chas W. Adair Co." on the other. The "King" is a mystery to me. Also I believe the Torrey is a Pre 1890 Piece due to the font and placement. Please correct me If I am wrong! My first razors I need them honed and Stroped that is to come! Oh and I forgot to mention I paid $29.76 for both.
