Fromm Straight Razor 5/8
Tell me about this razor, can i buy this

I bought one once a couple years ago, and it was horrible. It is made out of a realyy low grade carbon that is super soft. And to top itoff, it rusted! ... I live in Colorado where nothing rusts.. I would advise against it.

They used to be OK razors. These days I don't know. Does it say Solingen on it anywhere? Made in Germany doesn't mean much. The standards for saying something is made in Germany are quite low.

We know only a few commercial operations make razors in Germany and Fromm doesn't make razors so who made it for them? Dovo makes most of these second party razors but it doesn't look like a Dovo. I don't know the exchange rate but the price should give you a clue. If it's less than $100 watch out.

Thank u guys, I live in India and there is no good SR make company. I tried to import/buy from e-bay.com and failed our customs not allowed SR. they treat it as weapon. This SR i found in ebay.in. as per exchange rate it cost $135.

Theres a seller on ebay.in that sells some low quality razors. I would try contacting him and asking if he can get any decent razors for you. He must have some way of importing them, because he is offering the low end stuff.

I bought one just a few months back. The grind was uneven and the steel was not of good quality. Was a pita to hone, I wouldn't recommend one.

If u know any body who can delivery me a decent SR in India, I ready to buy
