I meant that a straight line would give you a scything motion. Not a scything motion with a straight edge.

Calm down and take a deep breath!
From what I read last night on one of your posts [http://straightrazorpalace.com/finer...sh-death.html]], I think I may have an idea of why you are having money problems. Here's what you said: "Just know that there has only ever been two cars that I have ever had to get rid of rather than were totaled." :hmmm: The idea with cars is to buy and sell them so you can buy another one. Wrecking them may be fun, but it does get expensive! :D
Whatever you do, don't go for a drive to calm your frustration. The razor will get there in plenty of time for you to have a chance to replicate your avatar in true life! That great big smiley on the razor is just the right curvature for looping off an ear. Wonder if van Gogh used just such a razor? :w
Any who, I'll be interested in your review and shaving experience.
Randy
LOL - you are a quick study White Lion lol! Very quick. But alas, the cars aren't what's made me poor. Fortunately, the majority of those were company cars lol. And yes, they kept buying me more lol.
Heck, until I moved to Kansas I was given a credit card and company cars for years. It used to drive my wife nuts when she would tell me of the great deal she got on gas that day, and I would just look blankly and ask if that was good lol.
There was that one time though that I bought a little Dodge Neon so that I could quit if need-be... I never did quit but that car DID cost me a fortune. Not driving a car is bad news. The break line froze shut - the... well, you get the picture. To top that off the dang thing got stolen lol. But that's a different story.
Hey great news! My friend Oleg - the vendor advises me that the product has left the confines of the Ukraine and is on it's way State-Side! Woot!
He keeps giving me tracking numbers - but I just don't know what the heck to do with them lol! I am such a luddite. :)
I've found there are very few reasons to shave in an exact straight line - around beards being one. In those cases a straight line without scything can be achieved by altering the amount of edge in contact with the skin. Even on an extreme smile such as these the radius of curvature is not so small that a 5mm edge contact will not approximate a straight line for shaving purposes.
Anyway, I wanna know why there are three blank posts in the first page of this thread? Is a friendly mod going to allow you to edit them when the time comes?
James.
I thought I explained that - I don't think I'll need to ask a Mod to do as much. You can edit any post can't you? Or is there a time limit. Yikes! I hope not - that would be a tool move on my part if that was the case.
EDIT - I just went to an old post of mine and sure enough... I can't edit it. Arg.
EDIT # 2 - Yeah I can't even edit the ones I "reserved" on this post... sigh.
Ok that was a tool move :).
Now you'll have to start a whole new thread!
