Questions about antique razors
I got two razors that seem to be in horrible condition. The scales were terrible. I took them off and threw them away because they smelled like foot. The razors themselves have some pretty good sized chips. One razor reads c. Krespach Mainz and the other reads top flight on one side and Burrell cutlery co. Inc ellicott villey N.Y. My question for you is, is it worth it to get these razors restored. Are they a known brand that is worth anything. I would post pics but I don't use a computer and there is no way to do it from my iPhone.

I just bought the app and I'm not such a fan of it. The jeep forum I belong to has one for free and works great. Can you send a pic in a pm in this app tried doing it but wasn't really letting me. I don't feel like the app was worth 3 bucks. It has some bad glitches

How much do you think it would cost to restore

I appreciate it guys. I'll start looking. I don't have any stones for honing (fingers crossed I get the nani set from srd and a DMT for lapping) and maybe I'll try to restore one. Thanks for the help

You are correct. The scales came from this one, and smelled of disgusting feet. But both razors scales were in bad shape. The razors wouldn't close correctly on either.
