    Default Questions about antique razors

I got two razors that seem to be in horrible condition. The scales were terrible. I took them off and threw them away because they smelled like foot. The razors themselves have some pretty good sized chips. One razor reads c. Krespach Mainz and the other reads top flight on one side and Burrell cutlery co. Inc ellicott villey N.Y. My question for you is, is it worth it to get these razors restored. Are they a known brand that is worth anything. I would post pics but I don't use a computer and there is no way to do it from my iPhone.

Then have some one else send the photos directly to one of the guys who restores vintage razors.
All brands of vintage razors are good, just some are better.
If you want good advice, then you need to show the razors to someone.

If you don't have the tools/equipment and the skill to do it yourself I imagine you would be looking at near a hundred dollars or more for each razor. Scales, honing with chip removal. Then there is polishing if you want to go whole hog. I am not familiar with those named blades and even restored they probably wouldn't be worth the dollar value spent to get them fixed. Just IMHO.

I have a dovo that is my normal razor. My girlfriend found these at a antique shop for an art project but didn't end up using it so she gave it to me. I'll just put them aside maybe she will find another use for them. Thanks for the help guys
