Thanked: 116Souvenir de Aachen 1950 7/8 stainless
Just wondering if anyone has any information on blades labeled 'souvenir de aachen 1950'. The blade also reads "acier bohler trempe et forge a solingen" which means stainless bohler temper and forged in solingen.
I picked up a 7/8 the other night and am hoping that it's a quality bit of shaving history! I really do love German blades but have no idea if these really were just 'souvenirs' or if they take and hold a proper edge.
Also, the etching reads 'KYRBYS'
Any help would be awesome.
