Thread: Help!!! Vintage C. Bertram Hen & Rooster 5/8 Full-Hollow Round Tip(?)

Hi Everyone!

I've done quite a bit of research, and I'm attempting to identify the manufacturer and year of my first Straight Razor. From the research I've done, it appears that I may have lucked out, and purchased a vintage Hen & Rooster 5/8!

Along with the photos, here's why I think I may have the real thing:

-The Branding on the Tang and box of the Razor seem to be that of an authentic Hen & Rooster.
-I'm not sure how to date the box, but I suspect that the "21" stamped on the reverse side of the tang would potentially indicate the year of manufacture (coincides with the makers listing from this link: Razor makers)

If you have any info that you may be able to provide, I'd be greatly appreciative. I had it honed locally from another member (chay2k), and he informed me that it was a Carbon Steel razor, and honed really well.
