Hey, about a week ago i had a post where i asked for information on a 5/8 Joseph Elliot razor, i produced no photos, and as a result no one knew what i was talking about. Well today i get to show off the newest surviver of my collection. It came this morning with its original box, the text on the shank says best silver steel, its a near wedge. My best guess would date this razor between 1830-1840, but i am not an expert and i would like some different opinions.
Also on a side note, i do believe there was a restoration done to this razor, because the wedge appears to be steel, and i am pretty sure they would use a natural material, or lead for that.
