It is my understanding that Eyre added "Late Greaves" for about 10 years after the aquisition. The Greaves Sheaf Works was the early production, but by no means were they the only makers by the river Sheaf!

all my answers are guesses and assumptions from reads online ..lol.. i would think ( nothing productive usually comes of this ) that since its just w.greaves&sons 1816-1823 with no sheaf works , but im making assumptions and thought by rule of thumb "sheaf works " was added 1823 ( im still learnin and trying to figure out all this ...lol)
