Oh well. That's a bummer, Scott.

Oh man that sucks! But on the bright side it could've been catastrophic! Could've been way worse. Lucked out really.

Although i feel your pain if that is the worst that happens to you, you are a blessed man.

Why do so many of the old razors we see have new scales.....

Cause its easier to replace, than take the time to salvage, and repair, for most.

The Op's razor is a contemporary model that for the time being has no "history"

When you see so many "oddball" repairs to straights that we think have historic value................

Thanks boys.. Like a few of you guys said. I could have been a lot worse.. Anyone have some spare acyylic in orange, some color of red or a lighter green that they would want to earn a few $$$ plus giving her a new hone job too?? I touch up my blades but not yet good enough if my razor needs much over 8000 grit... Give me a PM if interested. thnx, S. Wyatt

If it makes you feel better I dropped this Sprock last week and it is completely destroyed .

My workshop floor is covered in 1cm dense rubber . However, in a corner is a metal tray. This blade jumped out of my hands and flew across the room into/onto this metal tray completely destroying it.

I know what your thinking, " Thank god it wasn't a Sheffield"
