I don't know it says $2.50 on the box. If your happy you did great ! It looks like a nice razor that will give good shaves for a lifetime. How does it shave ?

No expert but I think it is a classic looking older ERN and legit but I could be wrong. If it is in as good a condition as it looks and there is nothing major wrong with the scales my personal preference is to keep old classics all original. Then again it is not my razor.

    +1 on BobH post.
I've got some ERN razors and love them, always takes a perfect edge, everytime I try some other razor and it's not sharp enough I pick an ERN up.
Please keep the scales, when they are gone there will be no more!

ERN made many models and for many companies and there's no coincident they did, it's a good maker you still Can get for a decent coin, I think. This is a "Crown and Sword" model, a brand that sold good back in the days, for a good reson. I think that's the original scales and they should have the Crown and Sword brand stamp in them, if in good condition I would keep them. Nice score!

I've got to agree with the other guys abd say that unless there's something major wrong with those scales I'd keep them with the blade. But thats just my opinion.
If you do make new scales just make sure you hang on to those original ones. You may want them someday.
I'm sure you'll be happy with your purchase.
