Thanked: 0Help me identify a new (for me) Dispatch Razor please!
I purchased two new razors last night via ebay. One shows 'Dispatch Razor' on the blade with a 34 6/8 H.S. Crossland, Blackburn marking on the tang. I'm wondering if anyone can help me identify it? I believe according to a search on the forum that it is related to a listing that Martin103 posted back in 2013. The ebay auction identified the razor as a Garland Cutlery Co. offering but I believe this is more based on the case than the razor itself. I know the toe shape is different and there are other differences as well but I see a number of different blade shapes regarding the one post about Dispatch Razors I could find. Any info would be much appreciated!

And the posting I found from Martin103 back in 2013 where he follows up to a question stating that PL Schmidt may have manufactured all of the 'Dispatch' marked razors but stamped tangs with shop requested stamps:

It seems Dispatch is a mark of Schmidt:

Thanked: 0Thanks for the PDF! That has a ton of info. I really appreciate the help in verifying what I suspected. I have no idea what the quality is of a Schmidt but I'm excited to clean it up and see how it shaves. Looks pretty clean already.
