Boker King Cutter, Henckels 80 1/2 (stainless?)

Just thought I'd flaunt my new acquisitions since it's Saturday and I got nothin' better to do =]

I got a pretty good deal on both of them so i'm pretty happy with em I hope they both serve me well, any suggestions on the quickest way to clean up the tang on the henckels would be appreciated also =]

Those look like some FINE razors you have there!

It depends on how deep the rust/stains is. Here's my amatuer restoration advice;
I used this buffer, found at beautiy supply stores, I've had tons of luck with this buffer. Just put a section of soda can between the scales & steel, so the buffer does not rub the scales. I also use it to remove scratches & light ping marks from my pins. This buffer also beautifully shine nickel & brass.

John, I think you got yourself 2 top of the line razors in pretty good condition, especially the King cutter but the Henckles should clean up easily.
Also i bet Hirlau buff his nails with that system as well,

Man, if you are happy thats all that matters. That being said I'd love to have those blades added to my very, very, very modest (2 blade) pieces.
