Those of you who have been here for a time will remember the stories surrounding Lt. Kawasaki and his razor. I have some exciting news for everybody but first allow me to rehash the story for the newcomers.

Lt. Kawasaki was a pilot during WWll for the Japanese Navy and one day during the war he and his squadron departed Tokyo to find the American Fleet to destroy those yankee devils. They were a kamikaze unit by the way.

As he was enroute to his target the young Lt.’s mind wandered how his family would be greeted by the Emperor and awarded the nation’s highest honors and General Tojo himself would honor his memory. Unfortunately he never heard his squadron leader order a course change and he was totally by himself and lost in the clouds and with radio silence he couldn’t contact them.

So he descended to see where he was and as if sent by a divine wind there it was, the entire American Fleet. Funny they weren’t firing at him. After he finished his attack he had destroyed several destroyers and sunk a carrier and badly damaged two battleships. One last act, to crash into the carrier flagship. Yes right on target the American Fleet destroyed and he would be remembered and honored forever…….-NOT.

Our young aviator had imbibed too much sake and was intoxicated and had in fact found the Japanese Fleet which he destroyed and was personally responsible for Japan losing the war.

His father could not take the disgrace and committed Hari Kiri by falling on his kamisori which was the one the aviator last used before his departure. His mother cursed him blaming him for causing the once proud Japanese people to produce cheap export products and bad monster movies. He would never find peace until he recovered his razor and did some acts of contrition.

Strange, when they removed the razor from his father it had changed into a Western Style grind. That razor was studied by the best for years to determine what happened to it and how those strange marks got there. Also it seemed to have incorporated the old man’s blood into its structure. They say the wrappings on the blade contain unknown DNA and were made from some creature.

The razor then vanished and reports have come in from all over the world concerning a ghostly apparition being seen wherever the razor was reported to be.

So here is the deal, my friend in Japan sent me this Kamisori with Western Grind and he says it’s THE ONE.

So after honing it and getting it shave ready I’m not keeping it around here. So I’m offering a razor pass around.
