Default My New $5 Dubl Duck Stainless

So I was antique shopping on my honeymoon in Old San Juan, PR - came across a bunch of razors that were in such horrid condition that I wanted to cry a little, especially since most of them were Filarmonica razors.

But the shop owner came through with one razor that was "pretty clean" - so I bought it at the steep asking price of $5.00 (please note sarcasm)- Dubl Duck Stainless.

There is a small chip at the toe of the blade, but it can easily be honed out. Very little hone wear on the spine and the scales/bolsters are fairly clean.

Needless to say, I am very happy to own my first Duck. Now I can join the club, lol.

    great find.....

Are you planning on honing the chip out or rounding the point?

Really just curious as we all look at one and almost immediately for our own vision of what is to be.

After looking more at it, I am think of rounding the point just slightly. For now it's a "later on" project.
