I have used several brands with the same results, no lasting effect. Because I like Bay rum so much I took a bottle to my office and refreshed the scent several times a day. I know this is not ideal...

If you like the Royall but always found that it was over priced. Somebody in this forum, it may have been Ray G., pointed this one out. I bought it and I am VERY! happy.

Bay rum is my favorite scent I am not familiar with the one you got though. My current favorites are Dominica and Royall. I find the Conk's Bay rum soap to be very subdued.
